WEEK  - Monster Revision of Treble Lines and Spaces & Piece No.2

WE ARE LEARNING TO 

1. Read sheet music on the treble clef music stave (5 lines and 4 spaces)

2. Practice reading sheet music to play on a Virtual Piano Keyboard.

Treble Clef  - Challenge   LEVEL 1

In this Challenge Level 1 - the notes FACE will be flashed on the screen. Your aim is to say the letter name of the note shown out aloud before Mr. Kant calls out the answer. The answer will only be called out if the time bar reaches "red".

Treble Clef  - Challenge   LEVEL 2

Treble Clef  - Challenge   LEVEL 3

In this Challenge Level 2 - the notes Middle C and EGBDF will be flashed on the screen. Your aim is to say the letter name of the note shown out aloud before Mr. Kant calls out the answer. The answer will only be called out if the time bar reaches "red".

In this Challenge Level 3 - ALL treble line and space notes will be flashed on the screen. The speed is faster than the previous two levels. Your aim is to say the letter name of the note shown out aloud before Mr. Kant calls out the answer. The answer will only be called out if the time bar reaches "red".

Watch Mr. Kant - He will attempt all treble and bass clef notes, 20 questions, at the fastest speed level on the app.

Seesaw activity - Please submit a video recording of exercise no.2. You can play it on the virtual piano, a keyboard, garage-band  or any other keyboard instrument you have.

Listen to the recording and aim to play exactly as demonstrated. This recording is essentially your rubric. 

Maintain a steady beat throughout. Refer to practice strategy for Exercise No.1.

If you are playing this Exercise No.2 on an actual keyboard, please do the following:

1. Use your right hand

2. Refer to finger numbers on the image on the right

3. Place your RH finger 3 on the first note and keep your hand in this position for the entire piece and use the finger that are over the notes.
